Webinar – The problem dealing with related parties

A number of recent Court cases have highlighted that dealing with related parties can be both convenient and yet complex at the same time, as Fund Auditors and indeed the Regulator look beyond the transaction itself to determine whether its purpose and application satisfy the various superannuation investment restrictions.  At their very core, SMSF related party transactions will need to pass more than one regulatory provision and often that number is 3 or more once you factor taxation.

In this webinar, Tim Miller from Smarter SMSF will use recent case outcomes to highlight the many key investment considerations that must be undertaken every time SMSF trustees contemplate dealing with a related party, including the initial trigger of whether the parties are related or not.
